Sanjeevan Naguleswaran

Biography:
Sanjeev Naguleswaran obtained a BA in Mathematics at Hanover College, Indiana, USA in 1986 and a PhD in Physics at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA in 1996. Sanjeev has primarily worked in the communications industry and in academia.

Sanjeev Naguleswaran has been a Senior Research Fellow at the CDCIN since January 2009. He joined the University of Adelaide as a member of the National ICT Australia(NICTA) funded Dynamic Planning Optimization and Learning project at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Adelaide. This project involved the study of novel optimisation methods including methods based on Quantum Computing and Information.

Previously was a Senior Research Engineer and team leader working in the areas of Signal Processing, Satellite Communications, Information Theory and specifically Narrow Band Multi User Detection Techniques at DSPace Pty. Ltd in Adelaide, Australia. He was a Research Fellow at the IRES in Strasbourg, France(1999 -2000) and NAC, Cape Town, South Africa (1996-2000) conducting research in the field of Nuclear Physics.

He is currently working on modelling Mobile Ad hoc networks in order to enable robust decision making in self configuring networks.

His research interests include Mobile Ad hoc Networks, Quantum Algorithms and Information, Operations Research, Information Theory, Modelling and Simulation.
